Upstream oil and gas infrastructure focuses primarily on production facilities, which includes the equipment or improvements used or installed at an oil and gas site for the exploration, production, withdrawal or treatment of crude oil, condensate, produced water or gas. Example production facilities include: Well sites, pits, centralized tank batteries, gas compression, natural gas treatment skids for sweeting or dehydration, Underground injection control (UIC) disposal sites, UIC enhanced production areas, and water gathering systems.
