This page includes screenshots and written instructions on navigating through different sections of the course. You can access this guide anytime by clicking the "Help" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
From the home page or any page in the training, you can either click the "Courses" button to see all of the units of the training or hover over "Courses" and then click on "My Courses" to only see courses for which you are registered.
If you have not logged in, you will be prompted to enter your username and password. After entering your credentials, click "Login" to move to your courses. Only select "Remember Me" if on a personal computer, never on a shared computer. You can reset your password by clicking the "Lost your password?" link and following the prompts.
Hovering over the other button in the top navigation menu will bring up several pages providing insight about the Top Energy Training program, including recommended technical requirements to improve your experience in the online course, a glossary, and biographical information about the different instructors. This material is not part of the learning material, but may provide context for the training.[hr]
Active Courses are those for which you have registered. Clicking any of the titles will take you inside the course to view different modules and lessons.
Within each course, you can navigate to a specific module or directly to a lesson. You can read a short passage about each module from the course-level navigation.
The small circles to the left of each lesson title will indicate which lessons have been completed. Lessons with empty circles have not been completed.[hr]
Each lesson page displays the navigation menu for the module to the left of the learning content. The circle to the left of the lesson title will display a gray arrow when you are currently in that lesson. The circle will display a green checkmark if you have completed that lesson.
You can either click on the title of a lesson to navigate directly to a lesson. Alternatively, you can use the arrows directly under the module title to move from one lesson to the next or previous.[hr]
At the end of each lesson and after each quiz, click the "Complete Lesson" button to mark a lesson as complete. You can also use the navigation buttons at the bottom of the lesson to move forward and backward through the course.
