Region Specific Training

Jon Olson from UT_Austin at TOPCORP's training for the California Department of Conservation's Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)TOPCORP is pleased to announce our new region specific training program for regulators and policymakers.

TOPCORP was launched in 2012 by Colorado School of Mines, The Pennsylvania State University, and The University of Texas at Austin to provide technical training in oil and gas operations for regulators and policymakers. Groups participating in our sponsored training over the years reflect a mix of U.S. state, U.S. federal and Canadian agencies. Building on the success of these offerings, we are proud to launch an additional on-demand program to train large groups of regulators and policymakers from a specific region.

Based on our highly successful sponsored program, our new regional program brings training in petroleum geology and engineering, oil and gas technology, environmental issues, and region-specific hot topics to larger audiences within a single region. We work with agencies in the area, local oil and gas operators and service companies, and environmental stakeholders to deliver a course that leverages our experience, knowledge, and vetted content to prepare regional teams for issues they will face in the field and beyond.
